The freephone, 24-hour National Domestic Abuse Helpline 0808 2000 247

Refuge is the largest domestic abuse organisation in the UK. On any given day our services support thousands of women and their children, helping them to overcome the physical, emotional, financial and logistical impacts of abuse and rebuild their lives.

Our lifesaving services, including refuges and our 24/7 Helpline, are available to support women affected by domestic abuse. Refuge’s Helpline team of highly-trained, female staff and volunteers provide vital emotional and practical support to women, many of whom are in imminent danger. The helpline is often the first port of call for survivors, marking the start of their journey towards a life free from fear and abuse.
